THIS SUNDAY! 2pm @ Hugh’s Room Ken welcomes visiting musicians who are in town for the International Folk Alliance Music Conference. Joining Ken will be Gospel Roots trio The Sojourners from Vancouver, Bluegrass pioneer Claire Lynch from Nashville, percussionist extraordinarie Cheryl Prashker (Runa) from Philadelphia. And of course the inimitable Ben Whiteley (New Country Rehab) will be holding down the bottom end with his big string bass. Whether you’re coming for the terrific music, or to sing and clap along, or for the spiritual experience, Ken promises that the afternoon will be an accessible and exciting blend of musical styles that is appropriate for music lovers of all ages.
