Ken played here a few years ago and it is a lovely sounding space. There will be lots of blues, gospel and original songs, and lots of chances to sing along with Ken and his great, dynamic band. Performing with Ken will be Ciceal Levy (vocals, percussion), Gord Mowat (string bass) and Bucky Berger (drums, vocals). Doors open at 7pm. Curtain at 7:30pm.

The Detweiler Meetinghouse is located at the south end of Kitchener (just north of Ayr). It is an historic building from 1855, first built as a Mennonite meetinghouse. It is the oldest stone meetinghouse in the province and Ivan Emke, who coordinates a summer concert series there says it is a great, singing audience. It is admission by donation. Tax receipts can be given for amounts of $20 and over.
This is always a wonderful time in the beautiful Laurentian mountains, just over an hour north of Montreal.
