CD RELEASE CONCERT: TONIGHT! I’m celebrating the release of my newest recording “Freedom Blues”, with an allstar band on Friday, April 1 at Hugh’s Room in Toronto. Joining me will be the glorious vocal harmonies of the Fabulous Levy Sisters, a 3 piece horn section that includes Shuffle Demon saxophonists Richard Underhill and Perry White with trumpeter Ewan Divitt, Denis Keldie wailing on the organ, all anchored by the heartbeat rhythm of Alastair Whitehead on bass and Bucky Berger on drums. I will be playing at least 4 of my guitars that night including my Grit Laskin 6 & 12 strings, my vintage National resophonic and my original “Mr. Whale” electric dobro that I purchased new in 1966. I hope you can join us. ~ Ken
