Sunday workshops at Mariposa…

Ken Whiteley and The Beulah Band are at the Mariposa Folk Festival. This morning Ken hosts the “Sunday GospelHour” at 11am on the Estelle Klein stage with Brother Sun, Gathering Sparks, Josh White Jr. Ken and the late Estelle Klein were inducted into the Mariposa Hall of Famein 2008. Sunday afternoon it’s the “Home From The Forest – Gordon Lightfoot” workshop at 1:30pm on the Bohemian Embassy stage with Lori Yates & Gathering Sparks and then “When I’m Gone – The Ever Relevant Phil Ochs” workshop at 3pm on the Estelle Klein stage with Sonny Ochs, Brother Sun, Gathering Sparks, Josh White Jr. Located on the beautiful shores of Lake Couchiching in TudhopePark, this festival is a favourite of ours not only for the picturesquelocation but for the diverse and interactive daytime music workshops, the great festival staff and volunteers. We hope to see you there!

This summer they’ll also be performing at the London Home County Music and Art Festival, Westben ArtsTGIF! Concert Series, Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival, Victoria Playhouse PEI, Cloggeroo Folk Festival, OM Music Festival, Summerfolk Music Festival and Weaving Words Festival. And the Cramahe Township Public Library presents Ken in concert for the families and friends of the the library. For more info click on the Shows tab.
