Indigenous Spirit Songs…

THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON! Mark your calendar for the next Sunday Gospel Brunch program entitled Indigenous Spirit Songs, which will feature artists of First Nations, Métis and Inuit heritage.

“Ihave always tried to present an open ended range of musical styles and forms of spiritual expression at these Sunday afternoon gospel shows at Hugh’s Room. While all of the shows have been unique, I am particularlyexcited about our Nov. 26 show titled Indigenous Spirit Songs. It will be a wonderful celebration of Indigenous voices, conveying significant diversity of musical expression. Sadie Buck, Jani Lauzon & Twin Flames areall extremely accomplished artists in their own right and I can’t wait to participate in the exchange that happens when we are all on stage together. Come and connect to voices deeply rooted in the longest standing traditions of this country and share as we make connections to help us all move forward together.” ~ Ken Whiteley
