I’ve been delighted by the warm reception “Keep Going” has been getting, capped off by a fabulous show on May 2 at Hugh’s Room Live, which coincided with my 75th birthday. The incredible musicians and singers (pictured above) did a fantastic job. It followed a wonderful night in Ottawa for the final “Gil’s Hootenanny, songs of protest, songs of hope”.
The album made the Top Ten in the Folk DJ charts (from across North America) for the month of March and was #4 in Kamloops, B.C.! I did many interviews and got some nice reviews including “Whiteley knocks it out of the park” (TBS Maple Blues News) and Whole Note Magazine said, “It’s an engaging mix” and quotes the title track as “Advice to live by”.
